Sometimes a glittering career hides some of the saddest stories. The winner of the USA and World champions in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her current position after many years of hard work and an immense patience. Born to a single mother within a household of five children, Jones had a difficult and a squatter's growing up. Her mother was always changing her location and she was a resident within the basement. Jones needed to go to a new high school each year because of her nomadic lifestyle. Jones moved away from her mother and moved to Theodore Roosevelt in order for her to pursue her track interest. Jones stayed in four houses during her highschool years in order to study at one location. Jones received the Gatorade Iowa Track and Field Athlete of the Year award during her time at school. She also was involved in the school orchestra as cellist. Jones, when she went to university, was recognized as one of the top hurdlers. Jones was the winner of the 100-meter hurdles in the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. She also participated in the team that finished second in the 100-meters relay. Jones took home both the indoor and outdoor hurdles events during the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones began her track career in 2005 when she finished her university studies. Jones won Torino Memorial in 2005, in addition to Ostrava and Heusden tracks events the following year.

Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town in South Africa. She emigrated to Auckland New Zealand with her family during her late teens. Brandt was noticed by casting directors from her hometown and took the part as Naevia for the Starz popular Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. In the course of her partnership with Steven S. D Knight's and Sam R. Raimi's producers, she was a breakout actor. She was on the show's hit Netflix show Lucifer which had a 6 year run. She played the favorite Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Forbes listed Lucifer the top-rated series in 2021. Brandt is set to next be seen alongside Andrew Lincoln, Danai Guarira along with others Walking Dead cast members in the six-episode Walking Dead spinoff that airs in 2020. Brandt also appears alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni and Chris Meloni as Captain Fall in an adult-oriented film which will premiere on Netflix the 20th of July in 2023. Lesley-Ann Brandt, a South African actress, born in Cape Town, South Africa on 2nd of December 1981. She is a talented New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt along with the other members of her family moved to Auckland New Zealand, in 1999. The year 1999, in Auckland Brandt began her career as an employee in the retail sector, and later was promoted to IT Management Consultant. Lesley began her career in commercial advertisements following several modeling assignments. She graduated with a major in acting in the year 2008. In 2009, she started training in Meisner Methods of Study. Lesley's first major acting gig was on New Zealand's TV drama Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt was a guest actor in New Zealand's television drama Shortland Street. Her next appearance was in This Is Not My Life. It's based on the real tale of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast in the Television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia who was a teenager hostage and later depicts on the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniseries.
