Learn about this dynamic IAS officer, Srushti Deskmukh
Srushti began to prepare herself for her UPSC examination in her 3rd year as an engineering student. During her graduation she wondered if she was able to be satisfied with her engineering job. Eventually, she realised that civil service was what she loved and focused on this field. Parents insisted that she study for civil service and to make a career serving the public. She was motivated to become an IAS officer and was committed towards that aim. In order to be a candidate for UPSC the candidate must do more. As she studied her engineering subject she was also able to study for various areas of the UPSC. Each day she allocated some time for preparation. She spent only one month working on the exams and stayed away from Facebook and other social media in her life. The focus she believes is vital to pass the examination for a government job and work within the civil service. She made a lot of effort to ensure she passed the test in the first try. To keep up to date with current affairs, she used to regularly browse through the papers. Also, she received a lot of help online collecting different study materials and viewing Rajya Sabha TV. IAS Srushti Deskmukh Book IAS Srushti Deskmukh wrote and published a book called The Answer Writing Handbook. The book is available in every library across all the states of the country.
